Every couple of years a story makes the rounds about the fashionistas among us and the growing trend of foot surgery for the sake of stilettos. And each time this happens, doctors go on record telling us that this is a bad idea. According to the Daily Mail, the number of procedures has doubled this year and range from the mild, collagen injections, to the extremes of toe shortening and narrowing of the foot.
