As you know I’ve become obsessed with all things Presidential since Mr. Obama’s election and inauguration and to that end I’ve become an avid reader of the White House Blog. Today there is a post about the First Lady’s visit to Howard University where she addresses the age-old question, “What are you going to do when you grow up?” This is a question I ask myself all the time.

It’s been a long time coming but I’ve finally completed Episode 2 of MBBL and I’m super excited to share it with you! This is a behind-the-scenes look at a film I shot last year called The Yakuza and The Mermaid. It’s really special to me because it marks my singing debut (on film that is). Egads! As you know, singing is my first-est love so combining my love of singing and my passion for moviemaking is just about the cat’s pajamas.

The First 31

One down, eleven to go. 2009 blew in on a strong wind (of change, of course) and I must admit, I’ve been blown hither and yon ever since. I can’t believe the month of January is on it’s way out and it didn’t look anything like I thought it would. With the exception of the giddy anticipation of President Obama’s Inauguration, I have been broadsided by my life in many ways.
