What I Bought From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024
This is officially my Summer of Subtraction and I’m supposed to be releasing as many things as possible this season. However, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024 is happening right now and since I love to shop the sale to stock up on favorites, there are a few things that I do actually need and are really good buys. So here’s my Beauty Edit for the 2024 NSale.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024 – Beauty Edit
First I want to say that I’m pleased with the variety of sale items in this year’s sale. If you’re a regular reader (or social follower) you know that I’ve had some criticisms for the sale in past years. They kept serving us the same items over and over and while that makes sense sometimes, it got a little stale.
Last year, they did better with lots of new-to-the-sale items including jumbo sizes of perennial favorites like Sunday Riley’s Good Genes and new brands like U Beauty, and this year, there are more new things to try and also to stock up on.

T3 SinglePass Style Max Flat Iron
I fell in love with T3 hair tools last year with my purchase of the Featherweight Dryer and I’ve now added the curling iron and the flat iron to my collection. Their styling tools are so gentle on my super fragile hair and since I’m using heat these days, I need to be as careful as possible.

Moroccanoil Treatment
I ran out of Moroccanoil a couple of months ago and I’ve been crying ever since. This duo comes with a full size and a travel size so you’re never without it.
When I said my hair has been a wreck, I mean it and I firmly believe that running out of this gem has contributed to my consternation! There’s no other hair oil like it.
The set is valued at $74, on sale for $50.
Olaplex No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner
This is one of the new additions to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – jumbo sized Olaplex. The way my hair sucks up conditioner, I absolutely need the big one.

BYREDO Les Triples Fragrance Set
My first non-hair care purchase! I fell in love with Bal D’Afrique, Mojave Ghost, and Gypsy Water when I bought a sampler set this spring. So naturally, when I saw this trio in the sale for the first time, I snapped it up.
Don’t wait on this one because they are going super fast! Note well, the set does not come with atomizers so don’t be surprised.
Now, if I were not in my Summer of Subtraction I would also stock up on the Nest Candle Trio (I get them every year), the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Kit because I go through those skinny pencils like crazy, the SLIP Pure Silk Skinny Scrunchies, and the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Gel Set. But alas, I’m being a good girl. *Cries in I really, really want them though tears.
