It’s that time of year again, the spectacular 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! We’ve been staying home and probably will be staying home for a bit longer so I’ve chosen some great beauty items to spruce up your look and hopefully, your mood too!
Not familiar with the Annual Nordy Sale? Rest assured it’s not like a regular sale. Meaning, you’re not stuck with loser items that didn’t sell as well as expected. Quite the contrary. The #NSale is chock full of staples, must-haves, and new releases that you’re sure to love. It’s a chance to shop sale prices on new merchandise and perennial favorites.
The best part is that Nordstrom does an amazing Preview so you can choose what you want before the sale even starts. That gives you a much better chance of actually scoring your favorite items because the really good stuff tends to sell out, fast!
Additionally, Nordstrom cardholders (Nordy Club Members) get Early Access to the sale based on loyalty level before the Anniversary Sale is open to the general public.

- Icon, the Early Access sale opens for you on August 4 and runs through August 18.
- Ambassador, August 7 through August 18
- Insider, you can start shopping on August 13 and go through August 18
- Public sale dates are August 19-30

There are so many great deals this year and tops on my list is the Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. Good skincare is everything in your beauty routine and Sunday Riley products are known as overnight sensations. This exfoliating treatment is a cult favorite with very good reason. UPDATE: This item was very popular and sold out almost immediately. I’m bummed too because I didn’t get it either. *sad face*
You can get an individual Good Genes though and there’s currently a gift with purchase. I hope this helps soothe your sad little heart. It soothes mine!
Another skincare favorite of mine is the Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate. I was introduced to this serum in one of my beauty subscription boxes and I used every last drop. I slather it on right after a microdermabrasion treatment when my skin is most receptive to nutrients and moisture.
This set includes two full-size products, one travel size, and the eye cream. It’s a can’t miss and a steal at this price.

If you’re like me, you’ve perhaps been neglecting your tresses during these COVID times. Rescue dry hair with Ouai Thirsty Hair Oil and Leave-In Conditioner. Another beauty box discovery of mine that has become a staple. UPDATE: The duo has sold out but you can still snag the Ouai Hair Oil.
I’ve been using Moroccanoil Treatment for years and I’m never without a bottle at home and a travel-size for good measure. It adds shine to even the most dull hair without a trace of oiliness.

I adore a spray-on sunscreen because it’s so darn easy to apply. Coola has great sun protection and the scents are heavenly!

As mascaras go, Better Than Sex is better than most. Too Faced has a sweet deal on a Lip Plumping and Mascara Duo for this year’s sale. UPDATE: The duo has sold out but the individuals are still available and both the mascara and the lip plumper has a gift with purchase.
Charlotte Tilbury does many right things and this Glowing, Gorgeous Eye Secrets Set is one of them. With two cream-to-sheen eyeshadows that work on every skin tone, you can’t go wrong!
