Sweater Weather Has Arrived! Are You Ready?

These past few months have me looking forward to sweater weather more than ever. The sweltering summer heat was unbearable and I’m excited to layer and style without sweating my a** off.

Cardigans have always been a favorite staple of mine even though they sometimes get a bad rap. Honestly, they can be a little dumpy sometimes but personally, I think it’s all in the styling.

Take this cashmere/wool blend cardigan I picked up during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Paired with camouflage faux leather leggings, snappy ballet flats, and a sleek leather backpack, there’s nothing dumpy about it. It’s perfect for tooling around running errands or strolling by the river.

A great cardigan can be an excellent hero piece in a casual fall outfit.

In addition to this black one, I also grabbed it in the heather tan cobblestone color as well. I love it!
