It’s May and peonies are finally back in season! I wait all year for this and every year I promise myself that I’ll buy new ones each week for as long as they’re in bloom but I inevitably manage to only make one purchase for the year. Well, not this year!! I got an early start and I’ve distributed them throughout my apartment for maximum ‘small moment’ effect. 
I’m starting out with six stems and I’m cautiously optimistic that they’ll all bloom in full.

Time flies…

I looked up the other day and realized it’s been way too long since I’ve visited my own blog. You know how it is, life and work get really hectic and it’s hard to keep up. But that’s no excuse Jefferson, so here’s a little of what’s been happening.
Last weekend, my sketch comedy group launched a new show, AMERICAN CANDY: It’s a Man’s World and I have to be perfectly honest–when I have a show, almost everything else falls by the wayside.
