Full Color in Full Effect: The Oscars 2018 Red Carpet

The 2018 Awards Season came to a close with the 2018 Academy Awards and today I’m sharing my favorites from the 2018 Oscars Red Carpet. While the political speeches continued during the ceremony, the red carpet returned to it’s normal colorful self in the wake of the Golden Globes all black initiative.

Surprisingly, some of my favorite Hollywood style stars like Lupita Nyong’o and Kerry Washington, didn’t make my list of best dressed on the 2018 Oscars Red Carpet but there were many other eye candy options to behold.

Hands down best dressed of the evening was Zendaya. Floating through in a voluminous, chocolate brown gown designed by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, Zendaya was a vision of youthful sophistication. She slayed with her minimalist and muted beauty look including a ballerina-style top knot and warm, neutral smokey eye. Just darling!

Wonder Woman Gal Gadot gave me all the feels with her 1920s flapper-inspired number by Givenchy. She looks like all the fun!

And Taraji P Henson brought all the heat and fire we’re accustomed to in custom Vera Wang. Can you say smolder?

My favorite of the men on the 2018 Oscars Red Carpet was Armie Hammer. Oxblood. Velvet. Giorgio Armani. Come through man!
